Accessibility Barrier-free design.
Good Design is Accessible Design
This site was designed to be fully compliant with the national and international accessibility standards of the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and Section 508 of the Workforce Rehabilitation Act of 1998.
Assistive Technology
To empower all users acessing this site’s content, aigaaustin.org uses web standards such as semantic XHTML and CSS. Headings, lists, and other markup elements can be easily accessed by assistive technology such as screen readers. The separation of content from display insures that any user can override the site’s style with custom browser preferences. Thanks to Jim Thatcher and John Slatin for helping test the accessibility of the site.
